How to Play
Students can play individually, in pairs, or in teams. Give each a worksheet.
Animals want to escape from the zoo. The students’ goal is to choose five animals that will make the best team for escaping.
First, the students will be shown 10 different characters. They will read about their strengths and weaknesses.
From that information, students will decide which characters they want on their team. Additionally, they have to think about which animals they think will work well together and which won’t as this will also affect their overall score.
After students are finished choosing, the teacher will reveal how many points students got for each character as well as if they received additional points or minus points for having two specific characters on their team.
Students will then add up all their points, and the student/pair/team with the highest score wins!
