How to Play

A student/team chooses a letter and answers the question or completes the task on the corresponding slide.

If they get it correct, the teacher will take them to a reward page where they will play a card game for points.

The teacher will show them a card with a certain point value.

The student/team decides whether to take the points on the card or draw again to possibly add more points to the current value.

The teacher repeats this process until they either decide to take their accumulated points or reach a bomb card in which case they get 0 points and their turn is over.

Students can also find rare cards where they have a choice: They can either get 5 points or take a chance and reveal the card, from which they will either lose all their points or get to change points with another team.

The student/team with the most points at the end of the game wins!

We played four or five rounds with five or six teams and always had at least four questions left. Also, this game managed to engage my first period Monday class, which is so rare and wonderful, I could cry!!!

Used this as a 5th grade review game. The students were divided into groups and had a small whiteboard with a marker. Each team took turns picking a letter to get the question. All teams wrote the answer to get 2 points. The team that got to pick the letter were the ones to play the card game. After the card game, that was the amount of points they would recieve for that round. (Team 1 who picked the letter- 8pts, Team 2- 2 pts, Team 3- 2pts, etc.) The team with the most points wins!

Each team had a whiteboard and answered every question. 1 point to all winners and 1 point and bonus for letter choosing team. After 2 rounds, we did speed rounds with the fastest team getting the bonus game.

Used this for a semester review for my 3rd graders in Japan and they did love it, although 1 student started crying (possibly from losing points but I'm not sure). I highly recommend! I might want to change the bomb/nuclear aspects to be more age appropriate/less violent though.

The class was split into 5 teams, I had each team choose one person to play RPS to decide which team would go first (this team would ultimately get one additional question).

Class was split into seven teams of four. I gave the student the option to restart and keep playing the game when we finished or do something else and each group chose to restart the game so played for a full 45 min! :)

This is THE BEST GAME for my middle school students. Even though we weren't able to finish it fully, we were able to finish most of the game. Any time the nuclear card was pulled, students went WILD and I loved the energy they were putting forth. I highly recommend this game for any review!!!! 10/10
